Christmas Karma is an upcoming British film written and directed by Gurinder Chadha and starring Charithra Chandran, Kunal Nayyar and Hugh Bonneville. It is a Bollywood musical inspired adaptation of Charles Dickens classic A Christmas Carol.

Financing for Christmas Karma is from Civic Studios. Gurinder Chadha, Celine Rattray, Trudie Styler, and Amory Leader are producers on the film. Zygi Kamasa, Anushka Shah, Paul Mayeda Berges, Sophia Pedlow, and Hannah Leader are executive producers.[1] The film is written, directed and produced by Gurinder Chadha. She spoke in the British Parliament in January 2024, to discus the British film industry. There, she told MPs her upcoming film was would have an Indian lead character, saying "My Scrooge is an Indian Tory who hates refugees".[2] The project was subsequently described as a Bollywood musical inspired by Charles Dickens's A Christmas Carol. It will feature music from Gary Barlow, Shaznay Lewis, and Nitin Sawhney.[3]

Principal photography began on 22 April 2024.[4] Images from the set in London appeared in the British media in May 2024.[5]

The ensemble cast includes Kunal Nayyar, Eva Longoria, Hugh Bonneville,[6] as well as Boy George, Billy Porter, Leo Suter, Charithra Chandran, Pixie Lott, Danny Dyer, Bilal Hasna, Allan Corduner, Tracy-Ann Oberman, Rufus Jones, Eve, and Nitin Ganatra.[7]
